Moti Lieberman is the host and producer of the Ling Space, a YouTube channel launched in 2014 with the goal of producing fun, accessible videos about linguistics. Since then, the channel has produced more than 100 videos on topics from theoretical linguistics like phonology, syntax, and semantics, and from applied linguistics like language acquisition, sociolinguistics, and psycholinguistics, as well as interviews with prominent linguists. Prior to beginning work on the channel, Moti taught at Concordia University as a lecturer in Linguistics. He attended graduate school at McGill University in the Department of Linguistics, researching second language acquisition and comprehension, and presented his findings at numerous international conferences. Moti is an avid Japanophile, having lived in Japan for multiple years, and speaks Japanese at an advanced level.
